Water shows
On 19 November 2019, Compagnie de Phalsbourg inaugurated its new open-air shopping centre called “Mon Beau Buchelay”. The new generation shopping centre with futuristic architecture staged a show of water jets on an artificial lake at the heart of the spaces.
At the request of the developer, CRYSTAL carried out all of the installations to put on this show that combined light effects and water jets.
DESIGN, CREATION, PRODUCTION
Pool No. 1
Pool with 2 levels (upper level 102m2 area / lower level 202m2 area)
Aquatic effects / lighting:
– Upper level: water combs on the whole of the edge to create an overflow effect
– Water combs lit by LED strips
Pool no. 2
Pool with 2 levels (upper level 142m2 area / lower level 628m area)
Aquatic effects / lighting:
– Upper level: water combs along the whole of the edge to create an overflow effect
– Water combs lit by LED strips
– Lower level: 2 Chalices, 23 frisson jets lit by 38 LED projectors
– Set up of a control centre, filtration systems for the pools
– Installation and programming of the management cabinets driven by automation
– Programming of aquatic effects & light effects to soundtracks
– Installation maintenance.
RESULT
Each day from 10am to 8pm, visitors to the shopping centre can enjoy light and water shows: 14 different programmes run with a break of 15mn between each one. These 14 small shows, each programmed to specific music, are a host of opportunities to entertain visitors throughout the day.
