Our Story
CRYSTAL was founded in 1996 by Michel Amann, an artist-engineer with an unconventional background, who transitioned from ice sculptor to inventor of a patented translucent ice. This first innovation laid the foundation for a unique blend of artistry and technology.
With a bold vision and a passion for immersive experiences, Michel led CRYSTAL into prestigious collaborations with major players across various sectors, including the Château de Versailles, Cirque du Soleil, Four Seasons George V, the Paris 2024 Olympic Organizing Committee among many others.
Today, the company is a global leader in creating water shows, monumental sets, and breathtaking special effects.

Every day, Michel relies on a team of over 45 people with a wide range of skills: artists, mechanical engineers, electricians, technical project managers, 3D artists, scenographers, programmers, technical directors, set designers, metalworkers, carpenters, sculptors, administrative staff, and many more.
Together, they imagine, design, test, build, orchestrate, and produce dazzling shows and events fascinating worlds and sets that push the boundaries of imagination.
